"I can do all things through him who strengthens me."
(Philippians 4:13 )
Founded over 170 years ago by a community of German immigrants to become the second Roman Catholic parish in Elizabeth, St. Michael's Church has served as a place of worship for many years. The original parish merged 130 years later with Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church to better share in the vibrant, diverse, and historic Union Square neighborhood. Thus, Holy Rosary & St. Michael's Church thrives in a multilingual and multi-ethnic community, offering Masses in English, Spanish, and French Creole.
Beautiful, multipurpose meeting spaces endow our buildings with a fluid spiritual life, designed for diverse worship occasions. We are grateful to those brothers and sisters who have gone before us, and we continually thank and praise God for all our blessings.
We invite you to join our parish and community in Elizabeth. Whether you've been a churchgoer for a long time or have yet to be initiated into the faith, God has a place for you at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary and St. Michael's Church.
